More than two years of research, development and user testing have led to the now available Stitch Simply knitting Aid. During this time it has been short listed and won numerous awards including the North England Arthritis Care Jubilee Award. Stitch Simply was launched at the Alexandra Palace Knitting and Stitching Show 2007 where anybody and everybody had the opportunity to sit down and stitch. The positive response from the public and knitting magazines was overwhelming.

Hand knitting in its traditional form is for some people who suffer with aches and pains very difficult. It doesn’t mean that they want to stop knitting though, or even begin to machine knit. One of the main attractions of hand knitting is its therapeutic benefits, a quality which is often lost when machine knitting. Stitch Simply allows the user to knit in their traditional much loved hand knitting style which little or no style adaptation. It is still the user knitting, it is still the user creating the results but with that added extra support and comfort.

Yes you can, additional Stitch Simply easy slip on fabric covers will be available with an expected release date of 2011. Stitch Simply at present is available in a warm grey moulded foam. The pads on Stitch Simply are removable meaning that with the expected release of future pads such as microwavable heat pads, silicone and memory foam you will be able to stock Stitch Simply Knitting Aid extras.
