It's always nice to win something. Especially when the award comes from well established and trusted sources. Our Knitting Aid has so far received a number of awards, the most notable being the recent recognition from the UKs largest arthritis charity, Arthritis Care.
heartdesign Limited hopes to build on Stitch Simply’s early success and achieve more recognition not only for it's the design but for knitting.

April 2008 Regional Enterprise Awards Runner Up
As winner of the Leeds Business Start up heartdesign Limited represented the City of Leeds in the Yorkshire Regional Enterprise Awards 2008 narrowingly missing out on the top prize.
Thanks go to all the staff at Business Start-Up.
March 2008 Business Start-Up Winner
Winner of the Leeds Metroploitan University Business Start-Up Competition 2008. Awarded £2000 to help with the production of
Stitch Simply. Thanks go to all the staff at Business Start-Up.
October 2007 £1000 Proof of Concept Funding
Awarded the £1000 Proof of Concept grant from Leeds Metropolitan University to assist Stitch Simply exhibit at the 'Ally Pally' Knitting and Stitching Show 2007. Thanks to Kairen Skelley of Business Start Up.
September 2007 Short listed for Arthritis Care Award
Short listed for the North England Arthritis Care Jubilee Award 2007 for the work and efforts with the Leeds based branch of Arthritis Care. Many thanks go to Campaigns Manager Gill Bowskill and to all the wonderful ladies of the Leeds branch who helped develop and test Stitch Simply.
July 2007 Robert Peake Award
Achieved Robert Peake award and prize money for gaining the highest mark at Leeds Metropolitan University. First Class Honours with an overall record mark of 82. Many thanks go to all the tutors and workshop engineers for their help, support and contributions.
