heartdesign Limited was formed in February 2008 by Knitting Aid inventor David Hill as the manufacturer and supplier of the popular and award winning knitting product.
Initially the Final Major of David's Product Design Degree the aid was a solution to the self titled project, "Arthritis and Self Esteem".
With his Grandmother suffering from arthritis David wanted to undertake a project that had meaning and relevance and attempt to create a product that could hopefully help his Grandmother and people in similar circumstances.
heartdesign Limited was formed in February 2008 by Knitting Aid inventor David Hill as the manufacturer and supplier of the popular and award winning knitting product.

With his Grandmother suffering from arthritis David wanted to undertake a project that had meaning and relevance and attempt to create a product that could hopefully help his Grandmother and people in similar circumstances.
Over two years of product development followed and with the product receiving awards and funding from a number of respected and established sources the Stitch Simply Knitting Aid was successfully put into production with the support of a professional product development consultancy.
heartdesign Limited now supplies it's patent pending product to individuals through it's website and to a larger audience worldwide through supplying occupational therapists, nursing homes, disability schools and much more.
